Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed holds an MSc in Leadership and Management Studies from the National Defence University, an MS in Management Sciences from Riphah International University, and a PhD in Management Sciences from Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, USA, and has completed nearly two dozen professional certifications in United Nations peacekeeping operations, logistics, training, and security through the Peace Operations Training Institute, USA. Dr. Ahmed had a distinguished career in the Pakistan Army, serving in several senior leadership and administrative positions, including Chief Administrative Officer, Deputy Director of Logistics, Head of Human Resources, and Senior Instructor at the Army School of Logistics. He also served internationally as Senior Staff Officer (Personnel) with the United Nations Operation in Côte d’Ivoire (ONUCI), where he was responsible for managing and coordinating military observers. Following his retirement from military service, he served as Director of Administration in a corporate organisation operating under the Ministry of Defence. He subsequently served as a visiting faculty member at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, and is currently a faculty member at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. His research interests include ethical leadership, unethical pro-organisational behaviour, prosocial rule-breaking, and advanced research methodologies, PLS-SEM. He has published in leading W-category journals and serves as a reviewer for high-impact international journals.
