UN DELEGATION VISIT TO PAKISTAN MARCH 18, 2019

A six-member delegation from United Nations Headquarters led by Lt. Col Jean Baptiste Kamali visited CIPS on March 18, 2019. The delegation which was in Pakistan for a week’s time visited CIPS in particular as a Pre-Deployment Visit (PDV) of MUH Unit for UN Mission in Mali and in the pursuit of Assessment and Advisory Visit (AAV) of Horizontal Mechanical Engineering Company (HMEC) for UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). The delegation was welcomed by the HoD Peacekeeping Training (PKT) Department who later briefed the distinguished guests about CIPS and PKT Department at NUST. The briefing was followed by an interactive session whereby the delegates were further apprised with the current and future ventures of the Centre alongside the insights about the Training framework at the PKT Department.
