Department of Peace & Conflict Studies

 The Department of Peace and Conflict Studies (PCS) started a few years ago with its prestigious PhD Programme and is steadily moving forward since then. After achieving stability in our PhD Programme, now we have commenced our MS (PCS) from Fall 2016. The centre provides an intellectual forum to discuss peace studies and to better understand the world through education and research. Our PCS Department is striving to achieve its mission through regular PhD and MS Programme, Special Programme like Summer Course on IPS, Seminars, Conferences and mutually beneficial interactions with think tanks and local/foreign institutions. We take pride in maintaining affiliations and collaborations with other institutes and departments who are supporting our mission.
       By providing a of suitable environment, guidance and intellectual supervision, we encourage research in Global & National Security, Nuclear Studies/Disarmament, Conflict Resolution, International issues, Terrorism, Religious & Sectarian Intolerance, Peacekeeping, Peace Building, International Humanitarian Laws and Contemporary global/regional issues and Multilateralism / United Nations system.
       At the Centre, we emphasize upon developing skills of conflict resolution; research abilities and independent thinking, instilling confidence, analytical approach & dispassionate research.
